Matty Peacock

Matty is a professional management consultant with 20 years' private and public sector experience. He currently specialises in strategy and innovation advice to start-ups and SMEs. He has advised a spectrum of clients from start-ups to governments (to Minister level), using his experience from different sectors to translate issues, improve understanding and spot opportunities.

He is the co-founder of x-innovate – an accelerator services consultancy working with pre-revenue tech companies and more established businesses with high growth potential, spanning medtech, urban tech, web services and cleantech. He is currently the Director of Tyregen – a start-up with a new technology to recycle tyres.

He has operated his own management consultancy for 7 years, providing a range of services including strategy, policy advice, data analysis, evaluation, feasibility, business planning and stakeholder engagement. He has well-established associate relationships with a social developer (Cornerstone Assets), a multi-disciplinary architecture and urban design organisation (Berntsen Consulting).

He was previously an award-winning Economic Development Principal Officer and Manager with Medway Council, and has previously worked in Public Affairs (Citigate PA) and as a Parliamentary Researcher. He is a PRINCE2 practitioner and holds a Masters in Urban Regeneration from UCL.

Matty has a naturally collaborative approach, has a wide network of professional contacts, and develops business for some clients. His key interest is in cross-innovation and developing new business models.
